My research focuses on understanding the mechanics of biological tissue through computational methods like finite element analysis and deep learning. I'm especially interested in sex and age differences. I also do musculoskeletal modeling in collaboration with the Digital Athlete moonshot, as part of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading a book in my hammock, biking to the ocean, and hiking as many trails as possible.
